Abloy’s extensive range of electric locks offer superior technology as well as unsurpassed levels of functionality and durability, making them the natural specification for a high-traffic, high security environment. Suitable for use in all kinds of access control systems – digital, card swipe or proximity – ABLOY® electric locks ensure freedom of egress as well as maintaining the security of each door.

Ideal for high security areas, whether internal doors or final exits, ABLOY® electric locks are designed to work in conjunction with access, door automation and hands-free systems. Abloy’s range of electric locks includes both motor locks with bolts withdrawn by motor, as well as solenoid locks with handles or free mechanisms engaged by solenoids.

Abloy manufactures high quality electric locks with an excellent combination of safety and security. Our ranges of electric locks meet the dimensions and standard regulations used in European markets (BSEN1125 and BSEN179).

Security

Manufactured and tested to the highest levels of security at our factory in Finland. Our highest security electric lock can withstand 60,000 N or 6 tonnes of side load pressure before breaking. When used in conjunction with an Abloy cylinder creates a virtually impenetrable lock.

Energy Efficiency

Our energy saving range of electric locks has been shown to use significantly less energy than the alternatives- magnet locks.This presents cost and carbon savings in the long run allowing buildings targets to be met whilst keeping energy costs low.
